Artistic Mentor
Dr. Vellinezhi Subramaniam is an acclaimed Carnatic vocalist, educator, and cultural mentor with over three decades of experience in performance and music education. Trained under distinguished maestros and recognised with numerous honours, he has performed extensively across India and abroad while nurturing generations of students through his commitment to traditional Carnatic music.
As the founder of Sadgurukulam and author of Karnataka Sangeetha Sasthrapradarshini, Dr. Subramaniam brings a wealth of artistic knowledge, teaching expertise, and musical insight to ANTARA School of Music.

Program 1
Beginner Vocal Program
Designed for students with little or no prior training, our Beginner Program builds a strong foundation in Carnatic music through structured and progressive learning.
Students develop essential skills including voice culture, shruti alignment, rhythm awareness, foundational exercises, and introductory compositions, creating the confidence and discipline required for long-term musical growth.
Suitable for: Children, adults, and first-time learners.

Program 2
Advanced Vocal Program
Our Advanced Program is designed for dedicated students seeking deeper artistic development and a refined understanding of Carnatic music.
Training focuses on repertoire expansion, raga exploration, manodharma, improvisation, concert preparation, and advanced vocal techniques under the guidance of experienced faculty.
Suitable for: Intermediate and advanced students with prior Carnatic music training.
